The UAI, Universidad Abierta Interamericana, integrates the network of institutions Vanguardia Educativa "VANEDUC", non-confessional entities dedicated to teaching and educational research since 1942. With more than five decades of experience, these institutions have 1,500,000 m2 of infrastructure, formed by twenty Colleges, Gyms, Sports Fields, Offices, and the University. Equipped with advanced technology, it offers a Library System (Central Library, Regional Library in Rosario and 7 locations libraries), video libraries, more than thirty multimedia IT laboratories, equipped with more than 3,500 PCs, connected in a network with intranet and with Internet access, laboratories of Medicine, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pathology, Histology, Microbiology, Electromagnetism and Languages ​​and a television studio. There is also a University Hospital in Buenos Aires and equivalent in Rosario, as well as infrastructure and equipment for research in the Higher Studies Centers (in Health, Education, Global Studies, Information Technology, Clinical Pharmacological Research, Immunocompromised and Bioterio). Its permanent staff consists of more than 3,500 highly trained educators who receive constant updates in each area of ​​knowledge.

The UAI, founded in 1995, has accreditations from National and International non-governmental education organizations, among them: ADEEPRA (Asociación de Entidades Educativas Privadas Argentinas), FAELA (Federation of Educational Associations of Latin America and the Caribbean), COMED (World Confederation of Education) and culminates the cycle of an educational project that ranges from maternal education to university and postgraduate higher education. Currently the University has 22,000 students and only in the area of ​​Systems, with 1,900 students enrolled, in four of its headquarters.
