Welcome to ICOTTS'19 - The 2019 International Conference on Tourism, Technology & Systems, to be held at the Universidad Abierta Interamericana, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, between the 5th and the 7th of December 2019. ICOTTS is a Multidisciplinary conference with a special focus in new technologies and systems in the tourism sector.

The International Conference on Tourism, Technology and Systems aims to improve the quality of life of people through the development of technology and advances in the field of tourism and social sciences. ICOTTS provides a platform to the researchers, scientists, and analysts from various fields and disciplines, to debate and discuss the current issues worldwide as well as finding solutions to the problems, exchange and share their knowledge with others on Tourism.

The travel and tourism industry has been growing at a steady pace over the past few decades, showing promise for even greater growth in the times to come. This potential has opened a new and exciting scientific domain discussed in this conference.

ICOTTS is an international forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, results, experiences and concerns in the several perspectives of Tourism and/or Information Technologies and Systems. Event for travel industry professionals looking for technology solutions. It is the place where commercial managers, IT specialists and marketeers in the travel companies meet to get new ideas and help them to maximise their tourism business potential through technology.

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit papers for evaluation by the Scientific Committee. The papers can be written in English, Spanish or Portuguese. All papers will be subjected to a “blind review” by at least two members of the Scientific Committee, on the basis of relevance, originality, importance and clarity. Papers written in English and accepted and registered will be published in Proceedings by Springer in a book of the SIST series, will be submitted for indexation by ISI, EI-Compendex and SCOPUS, among others, and will be available in the SpringerLink Digital Library. Papers written in Spanish or Portuguese and accepted and registered will be published in a Special Issue of RISTI and will be submitted for indexation by SCOPUS, among others.
