KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Claudia Costin is visiting professor at Harvard School of Education and Director General of the Center for Excellence and Innovation in Educational Policies of the Getulio Vargas Foundation of Rio de Janeiro. She is also a member of the Global Commission on the Future of Labor of the International Labor Organization (ILO), a United Nations agency.

Her previous positions include Executive Secretary and Minister of Administration and State Reform during the Fernando Henrique Cardoso administration (between 1995 and 2000). She also held the position of Secretary of Culture of the State of São Paulo during the first term of Geraldo Alckmin (PSDB) as governor, between 2003 and 2005, and President of Promon-Intelligens, a company focused on e-learning. She also worked as a consultant on public policies and state modernization, supporting several African countries such as Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau Mozambique and São Tomé and Príncipe.

Claudia is a university professor, having worked in different higher education institutions such as PUC-SP, at Fundação Getulio Vargas, at INSPER and, as a visiting professor, at École Nationale d'Administration Publique, in Québec and at Harvard University, where she is located at the moment.

Flavio Marques Azevedo has a degree in Electrical Engineering (1999), a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (2005) and a Doctorate in Science (2014) from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (POLI-USP). He is currently an Adjunct Professor I and a member of the Institutional Evaluation Committee of the Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM), responsible for Interdisciplinary Projects and Undergraduate Projects in Technology of the Information Systems (TECH) course.

He is also a professor at the Faculty of Informatics and Administration of São Paulo (FIAP) in the Information Systems course (in-person and online). He is a member of the Research Group of the Interdisciplinary Center for Semiotics of Culture and Media (CISC) at PUC / SP, advisor/consultant at the Messianic Faculty, professor at the National Graduate Institute (INPG) and ad hoc consultant/reviewer at FAPESP. He has experience in the Education area, with an emphasis on Educational Technology, working mainly on the following themes: programming language, virtual learning environment, free software, online platform and information architecture.

Anna Romagnuolo is Associate Professor of English Language and Translation at the Department of Economics, Engineering, Society and Business (DEIM) of the University of Tuscia, Viterbo, Italy. She is a licensed English and French Translator and Interpreter, licensed teacher of EFL, and teacher trainer. 

She holds a PhD in Translation Studies (University of Sassari, 2007); a four-year University Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature  (University of the University of L'Aquila, 2001); a  three-year University degree  of Conference Interpreting  (Major: English; Minor: French) ( ISIT- High Institute for Translators and Interpreters, Caserta, 1993); a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (Major) and Management (Minor). (Utica College of Syracuse University, New York, USA, 2000); a Master in NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming and Effective Communication -Practitioner) Rome 2001; a Master in Using Moodle for Teaching. (Università di Roma Tre, 2001).

She gained the Italian State qualification for teaching English as a Foreign Language (Abilitazione Sicsi; Università dell'Orientale di Napoli) in 2004 and has been teaching University courses of  ESP and Translation into and from English since 2002.

Her research interests include: Translation Studies, Discourse Analysis, (Computational) Linguistics and ESP Didactics. She has mainly published in the field of Translation Studies and CALL.

​Ivanete Daga Cielo. Graduated in Bilingual Executive Secretariat from the Western Paraná State University  (UNIOESTE) of (1994); specialization in Management Development, also by UNIOESTE; master’s degree in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2001); and PhD in Regional Development and Agribusiness from the Western Paraná State University  (UNIOESTE) (2015). Since 1997, she has been an effective professor at UNIOESTE working on the undergraduate course in Executive Secretariat and in the lato sensu graduate course in Executive Advisory. She was Dean of the Center for Applied Social Sciences - CCSA/Toledo, area coordinator of CCSA/Toledo, Head of the Executive Secretariat course and internship coordinator of this course, among other functions. She is an editorial boards member of specialized magazines and an ad hoc evaluator of undergraduate courses at the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP) and Ministry of Education (MEC). She develops research in the areas of secretariat, management, agribusiness and entrepreneurship.
