KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Manuel Moreira da Silva is currently President of ISCAP. He has been an adjunct professor in the area of Languages since 1998.
He is a member of the Strategic Research Council of the Porto Polytechnic Institute. He is President of the Executive Committee of the Association of Portuguese Language Centers (ReCLes.pt). He has a PhD in Linguistics from FCSH at UNL. He coordinates the CLOE Investigative Unit. He represents ISCAP at CCRVA – P.Porto’s Virtual and Augmented Reality Competence Center. He participates and has participated in more than 15 national and European projects, and is currently coordinating the DIGITOOLS-Innovative Tools for Enhancing E-Learning Solutions in Universities and VRP4Youth-Innovative Integration between Virtual Reality and Rapid Prototyping for Youth projects. He is the author and co-author of dozens of articles in journals and several scientific books or indexed conference proceedings.
He was co-editor of Revista POLISSEMA – Revista de Letras do ISCAP and was co-editor-in-chief of Revista Tecnologias Informação e Comunicação (RTIC). He is currently co-editor of Revista e3, Magazine of Economy, Companies and Entrepreneurs at CPLP.
He collaborates with several scientific committees of indexed journals and national and international conferences, having been Keynote Speaker and Chair of international events.
Hermano Perrelli de Moura (hermano@cin.ufpe.br) is currently a Professor of Software Engineering at the Center for Informatics (CIn) at Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). He was a visiting professor at the University of Maryland in College Park, USA (2011). PhD in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow, Scotland (1993). Master's degree in Informatics from UFPE (1989). Graduated in Electronic Engineering from UFPE (1982). He is PMP certified (2003) by the Project Management Institute. He works in the area of Computing, with an emphasis on Software Engineering and Information Systems, developing research and projects, mainly in the following lines: project management, software project management, future studies, software development process and IT entrepreneurship. Having started its activities in the IT area in 1979, he currently develops teaching and research activities at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, in addition to cooperation projects with industry and university management. He was Pro-Rector of Planning, Budget and Finance at UFPE (2011-2015). He held various administrative roles at CIn as Deputy Director, Head of Department, Planning and Finance Coordinator. He currently coordinates the Emprel-UFPE Software Development Residency Program and participates in the coordination of the CIn-Motorola Program. He is a caboclo de lança from the maracatu rural group Cambinda Brasileira and lives in Recife.
Iván Claudio Suazo Galdames Academic and Executive with experience in university management and in the development of public policies for research and scientific culture. Leader and articulator of knowledge management, teaching and research teams in Chilean and foreign universities. Director of the UNESCO Chair, scientific education for citizens and Member of the Board of Directors of Crossref. He has been an institutional evaluator in the undergraduate, graduate and research areas. With complete knowledge of the Chilean University System and research development models in Latin America, Spain and Portugal, he has advised universities in Chile and abroad on research and postgraduate matters. He has led important institutional development projects. Doctor of Science (PhD), Full Professor, with national and international recognition in teaching and research in biomedical sciences. High scientific productivity, with more than 100 publications in international journals and 4 books in his specialty ( https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1689-1632 ). He has been director of university departments in Faculties of Medicine and Health Sciences, and director of doctoral and master's programs. He has given lectures in Chile, Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Ecuador, Mexico, Colombia, USA, Canada, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom and Portugal, and has been a visiting professor at universities in Brazil and Portugal. Creator of the Science Communication Center @ciencias_chile, Editorial "Ediciones Universidad Autónoma de Chile", the International Graduate School (ESIP) and the OTL UA Transfer and License Office. With a wide network of international contacts, he is currently a member of Evaluation Agencies in Latin America (EQUAA) and different agencies of the European Higher Education Area, a senior associate researcher at the University of Oviedo, Spain. Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Medical Sciences and European Health Research. Vice Chancellor of Research and Postgraduate Studies at the Universidad Autónoma de Chile since 2013. In this position he led the transformation of the University into a more complex institution, with research accreditation, a significant increase in scientific productivity, the creation of doctoral programs and the development of a culture of quality in the production and communication of knowledge.
